Gastronomy

Costa Verde & Mar possesses a varied gastronomy that meets different needs and a demanding public looking for the best flavors and aromas. It’s another way we’ve found of celebrating life. Our high point couldn’t be any other: we have an infinity of restaurants and bars based on seafood.

In Itajaí, where fishing is one of the main activities, there are excellent options along the Via Gastronômica. Bathed by the waters of the Rio Itajaí Açu, you can see the movement of the cargo, tourist and fishing boats while savoring delicious seafood.

In Bombinhas, Itapema and Porto Belo, the highlight has to be the restaurants which offer delicious snacks like traditional cod balls and crab cakes, commonly accompanied by cassava flour mash and, of course, seafood. These municipalities also have various activities for all palates during International Gastronomy Week.
The gastronomy of Balneário Piçarras, Navegantes and Penha includes a plentiful menu replete with delicacies from the sea and a specialized and courteous service.

Restaurants with homemade food accompanied by fish caught by visitors themselves can be enjoyed in Camboriú.
