Adventure in Bombinhas is a given. Diving is the main activity here. There are specialized schools and operators with well-equipped boats and launches and professionals that look after your safety and well-being, besides observing the beautiful underwater scenes. And the city also has various ecological trails, rock climbing and tandem paragliding.
The Ilha de Porto Belo in the municipality of Porto Belo offers a complete structure for snorkeling, water sports, trails leading to rock art, as well as the Eco-Museum. Panoramic flights and incredible parachute jumps attract visitors to the largest Aeronautics Complex in the south of the country.
Penha’s Praia Vermelha possesses one of the best parasailing courses in the State. Located at a strategic site, the view from the top of the observatory is breathtaking.
In Itajaí, visitors have the chance to follow trails with access to the Praia da Solidão and the Lighthouse, besides climbing the rocks of the Canto do Morcego on the Praia Brava and practicing surfing. At the Parque Natural do Atalaia it is possible to observe the flora and fauna, practice free flight and participate in environmental education lessons and scientific research.
In Itapema, fans of adventure can invite their gang to have fun with the water sports and leisure activities spread along the coastline.
In the water parks at Camboriú you will find various ways of practicing sports and adventuring through nature, such as zip-lines, climbing walls and trails for motocross and beautiful waterfalls.
In Navegantes, surfing and body-boarding are the most popular sports owing to the favorable waves that break on the central beach. Ilhota and Luís Alves have broken onto the scene as municipalities hosting meetings of “jeeping” and hikers seeking adventure and adrenaline combined with conversation of nature.
Cycle Tourism
The Costa Verde e Mar possesses the first Cycle Tourism Circuit to cover a coastline and inland region. Traversing the eleven municipalities and a total of 270 km, cycle tourists can enjoy a number of attractions, landscapes and natural beauty on a route designed to surprise.
