Porto Belo

Porto Belo is located in the beautiful and privileged northern region of the Santa Catarina coast. The choice of the name of the city, meaning Beautiful Port, arose because of magnificent scenery that brings together the beauty of the beaches and preservation of the Atlantic Forest, aligned with the customs inherited from Azorean colonizers and preserved over time. These characteristics are made evident in the features of traditional architecture and artisan fishing attributes that confer a special charm on the city. Geographically, the municipality is a natural port, which by its genuine characteristics and beauty has attracted various maritime companies and was graced with the title of Santa Catarina Capital of Transatlantic Liners for being one of the main naval destinations on the coast of Santa Catarina during the summer season.
